adopted Soccer for All as its motto to emphasize the diversity of programs we offer - instructional, recreational and travel. We continue to develop and maintain programs of soccer activities for youth of all ages, abilities and interests. Our instructional and travel programs, are offered year round and available to any youth in the Roanoke Valley. Our Soccer School is comprised of two programs - Little Strikers for ages 4-7, and Academy for ages 8-10. We also offer soccer camps that provide professional training to young players. Our recreation program is offered in the fall and is limited to youth living in the southwest County school districts. Last fall we celebrated our 26th year of recreation soccer. We currently have 300+ players on travel teams and approximately 900 players on recreation teams. We are a volunteer driven organization and welcome your involvement. Valley AFC and Cave Spring Veterinary Clinic will award two scholarships to VAFC players entering college in fall 2008. We are holding an additional U13 Girls Try-Out on Wednesday May 14th, at Merriman Sports Complex from 6:00-7:30 PM. This Try-Out is for players born 8/1/95 and younger (you cannot turn 13 on or before July 31, 2008). Come to the field ready to be soccer active (shin guards, ball, water). If you have questions, call the soccer office at 774-7272.
