I'd just like to thank everyone from the Valley AFC group.  I am a coach from a Botetourt U16 Boys team.  I appreciate the opportunity that you gave us to play in your league.  My kids' "team" had a great season, and were able to have fun playing the game they love.  Without Valley AFC we would not have been given that chance.  Again, thank you, and I wish the best for your organization.  Coach "Ben"

Age Divisions (Boys & Girls) for 2009

• U-10: 8-9 Years of Age – Player born 8/1/99 and younger. Will use a size 4 ball and play 6 vs. 6 on a small sized field. Will play four (4) eight (8) minute quarters.
• U-12: 10-11 Years of Age – Player born 8/1/97 and younger. Will use size 4 ball and play 11 vs 11 on full sized field. Will play four (4) eight (10) minute quarters.
• U-14: 12-13 Years of Age – Player born 8/1/95 and younger Must not turn 14 prior to August 1, 2008. Will use size 5 ball and play 11 vs 11 on full sized field. Will play two (2) twenty-five (25) minute halves.
• U-16: 14-15 Years of Age – Player born 8/1/93 and younger Must not turn 16 prior to August 1, 2008. Will use size 5 ball and play 11 vs 11 on full sized field. Will play two (2) twenty-five (25) minute halves.
• U-19: 16-18 Years of Age – Player born 8/1/90 and younger. Will use size 5 ball and play 8 vs 8 on full sized field. Will play two (2) twenty-five (25) minute halves.

Eligibility
All teams must be members of VYSA. Instructional Division Teams are limited to 12 players. All other age groups are limited to 18 players. All players must be on the regular season recreational team roster. o guest players will be allowed. No travel, select, all-star, challenge, or premier teams will be accepted. A copy of the official recreational team roster, signed by your youth athletic supervisor or club president and VYSA recreational player passes, must be submitted with entry form. (Each club should have access to recreational player passes). Medical releases, permission to travel, player passes, and roster will be confirmed at check in thirty minutes before your scheduled first game.

Entry Fee
The fee for Instructional Teams (U10) is $190.00. For all others, the fee is $230.00. Fees are payable to County Classic, P.O. Box 20045 Roanoke, VA 24018. Once a team is accepted, the entry fee in non-refundable. In the event a team is not accepted, the entry fee will be returned in full. No refund will be made in the event of cancellation or shortening of any matches due to weather. Note: We have kept fees low so that all may have the opportunity to play
tournament soccer. A minimum of 3 games per team will be played.

Deadline
Entry form must be received by September 25, 2009. Acceptance letters will be sent as divisions are filled. If age groups are filled prior to September 25, 2009, entry will be denied and fee will be returned.

Rules
The tournament will be played according to USYSA rules and guidelines.
