Travel Soccer

The Valley AFC Arsenal Travel Program serves boys and girls from U11 through U19. The primary focus is to give players an opportunity to develop and play at an advanced level, in a highly competitive yet supportive environment. Please email the soccer office if you have any questions.

Tryouts

To maintain a high level of competition, all travel players must tryout each May. Tryouts for 2010/11 season have concluded.

We are always looking for more players, so if you would like to tryout for the Arsenal please email John Faircloth, our Director of Soccer.

Seasons of Play

• U11 – U14 Fall & Spring seasons
• U15 – U19 Fall season only

Professional Training

• Each team is coached by a professional, paid coach
• In season, teams practice two days a week
• Off season, indoor training is available and encouraged (included in travel fee)
• Indoor Futsal League is offered in the winter
• Team Camp is offered pre fall season

Tournaments

Tournaments are chosen by the Director of Soccer each season. Most teams average 2-3 per season.

Required Gear

• Uniforms – two jerseys (home and away), pair of shorts, two pair of socks
• Practice Jerseys – two required
