The Xpress Academy attended Piedmont's Academt Festival held at the Smith River Sports Complex.  Clubs that participated included: Piedmont, New River United, Central Virginia United, Salem Sabres, Blue Ridge FC and Radford Soccer Club.

There were 32 teams participating in the Festival with around 320 players.
